Today’s Inspiration: “A man’s steps are of the Lord; How then can a man understand his own way?” Proverbs 20:24 NKJV. In the ministry of healing, we see many souls are in need of love, acceptance and belonging in their life. And because many had search in the wrong places were deeply hurt, wounded, and fearful. The world would always search for the acceptance of man and this is the pitfall to be a man pleaser, which in the end satisfy none. Apostle Paul said,” “For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.”
Galatians 1:10.
Our first love, must come from God to have a faithful, fruitful, and fulfilling life. Wisdom teaches us the fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25. The truth to the matter is no one is able to understand us fully except Christ Jesus. We struggle because we always want others to understand our pain, struggles and challenges but most of the time, we don’t even understand ourselves. That’s the reason we need the Holy Spirit to lead us in searching our hearts, repenting of our sins, releasing forgiveness, healing our wounds, renewing our minds, transforming of our hearts and have a deep intimacy with God to direct our daily steps with His love, peace, and joy again.
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me not to fear man but to fear God, and to please God in all ways and not man or flesh. Lead me by your Holy Spirit. Give me a fresh understanding of your wisdom and ways that I may know the deeper things of God. For your word is the lamp to my feet and light to my path, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
