Today's Inspiration: For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear but you receive the spirit of Sonship. Romans 8:15. Navigating life means living by faith. It means clinging to the allegiance of Christ and we are left with no doubt of where we are heading but instead you trust His total excellence as the Son of God and as God's perfect and final solution to our needs. No matter how stormy our life maybe when we anchored in the truth of God's infallible word, we are assured that we are in safe harbor. The basis of our spiritual stability is a firm grasp on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

It is never easy to live as a Christ follower and our culture is contrary to the purpose of God. But it is worth paying the price. The God who sustained us in the past is fully able to sustain us in the future. A new Christian will definitely have to withstand intense pressure. Jesus already said in John 16:33 that this world is full of troubles but He has conquered the world. Hence following Jesus no matter how arduous can never be a mistake. We need the staying power of Christ to sustain our journey like all men of faith recorded in Hebrews 11.

Faith sees what the human eye cannot see. God's grace is a foundation on which to build. Past victories over difficulties builds confidence to face what lies ahead.

Confidence is linked to endurance. You need to persevere to develop endurance. Endurance is an attitude that always challenges us. Endurance is not an end itself neither a surviving attitude but it's about doing the will of God.

Faith is not the absence of fear but the facing of it with confidence in God. The mark of reality of faith is staying power, endurance produced by the indwelling presence of the spirit. Therefore since we have been justified through faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1. Since we have been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him. Romans 5:9. It's faith that places us in good harbor. Fear dwells in dark harbor. I am fully convinced that God is able to bring His promises to pass as He assured us that His promises will not return to Him void. Isaiah 55:11. God be praised

Prayer: O Lord God thou has made the the heavens and the earth. There is nothing You cannot do. All your testimonies are valid and documented for our obedience. May we not waver from our faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen
