Today’s Inspiration: “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 NKJV. The Word of God is His presence and if we love the presence of God, His Word shall be our first love. Today the church seeks the grace of the Lord for healing, finances, breakthroughs and relationships but lacking the gravitational pull towards the Word of the Lord and His Kingdom and purpose.
God’s word is not just prophetic but powerful. He does nothing without first establishing His Word. “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all. Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.” Psalms 103:19-20. The first sign of His Holy Spirit working in us is the hunger and thirst for His righteousness, which is the working of His Word in our spirit man. The church is not a form of religion or function of rituals but carries the presence of God in the transformation of souls with His Word, the rock of our salvation.
Prayer: O Lord my God, give us today our daily bread and bring forgiveness of our sins as we forgive others too. Let your Word guide my mind and my heart with your revelation and Holy Spirit with your presence. Open doors that no one can close and close the doors that no one can open. Bring forth the fear of the Lord through thy Word of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
