Today‘s Inspiration: “When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you.” Proverbs 2:10-11 NKJV. Wisdom comes from the fear of the Lord, which is obedience to His commandments, instructions, and statutes. Prayer of wisdom should be our daily spiritual inquiry to the Lord because we face different challenges in times and seasons. King David was a man after God’s own heart since his primitive years as a shepherd boy, when God delivered him from threats and giants. Acts 13:22.
The matter of the heart is the heart of the matter. Even when David sinned against God, he too repented and inquired from the Lord to obey His voice. Psalms 51:17 The Wisdom of God always produces humility, self control and patience in one’s attitude, behaviour and character. Do not see problems or adversaries with our fleshly eyes but see it through the Word of God. Don’t not take things into our own hands but to take it to the Lord’s hand in prayer, petitions, and thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6 He shall fight all your battles and bring light, faith and hope to your Spirit. 2 Chronicles 20:15
Prayer: O Lord my God, let not my will but your will be done in my life on earth as it is in heaven. I believe you are my God who gives wisdom to all liberally and without reproach in prayer and humility. Cast out all fears, doubts and unbelief within me and direct me with your wisdom to bring peace, unity and love to all my endeavours and relationships, in Jesus Name, Amen.
