Today’s Inspiration: “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV. The tree in the Bible represents man and waters represents the word of God. The roots of the tree depicts the soul which reflects our thoughts and emotions resides. The soil represents the condition of our hearts. The World plants themselves on the things and issues of the earth but the Kingdom plants themselves on the things above in heaven for the Father’s Work. John 5:19.
Healing are the leaves in the Bible and fruitfulness is the formation of the Spirit man and character. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. James 4:8. A tree is not dependent on man but on God, whose light, rain and nourishment comes from the Almighty. This is a season to put our trust and hope in the Lord, do not lean on your own understanding or capability but trust in God’s provisions, plans and purpose. He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? Psalms 94:9-10.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are my hope and trust. Let my heart be contrite for the Lord shall lift me up, let my soul be obedient and the Lord shall pour and overtake me with His blessings, and let my heart has the fear of the Lord, to be filled with His wisdom, knowledge and understanding, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
