Today’s Inspiration: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ When we focus on the world of busyness, we becomes weary, heavy and lost but when choose to seat with the Lord, we find rest, restoration, and revival for our mind and heart. To grow in the spirit we have to learn how to live and walk in the Spirit by seeking the word, will, and work of God in our Spirit man.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ The flesh brings fear but the Spirit brings faith in the kingdom of God. Prayer in the Spirit and the Word of God keeps us focused on things above; the salvation of souls and the spiritual formation of our hearts, and knowing the calling of God in our lives. We are created for His good, pleasing, and perfect will. When we walk in the Spirit, our minds are renewed and our faith is a new measure from God. So put of trust in God and not in the world.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are my hope of glory, my honey in the rock, the one thing that I seek is to dwell in your presence. Open my eyes and my ears to your still small voice that I will obey your commands and observe your statutes, for they are lamp to my feet and light to my path. Lead me from faith to faith and from glory to glory serving your irrevocable calling and gifting in Jesus' Name, Amen.
