3 May 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. Our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend?” 2 Chronicles 20:6-7‬. ‭This was the exhortation prayer of King Jehoshaphat who declared the majestic and awesomeness of God, the Holy One who fights all our spiritual battles. 2 Chronicles 20:15.

Three bigger kingdoms, came against the land of Judah, which is named “Praise” unto God and His Kingdom. What may be small to our physical eyes can be large in God’s kingdom, just as David to Goliath. John 3:30. Any king would have trembled with fear and insecurity when such adversaries come together against you. It can be sickness, financial and conflicts that tries to torment and threaten your life. The key to spiritual victory is not about the size of the enemy but the size of your God in your faith. Romans 12:3. King Jehoshaphat fought many battles and knew His victory is in the highest praise and deepest worship of the most High God. There is a strong and deep relationship with God that brought forth such a prayer. Our prayer reflects how much we know, trust and believe in the Kingdom. Know this, Jesus didn’t bring forth a physical kingdom to earth but a spiritual one. It is the Holy Spirit that wins the victory. Our battles belongs to God because He loves and fight for us. Praise God today and daily!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I love to be in your presence, with your people singing praises. I love to stand and rejoice, lift my hands and raise my voice. All glory, power and honour belongs to you. Let every Word from you bring forth victory and triumph over all threats and adversaries. We rejoice because we are the children of the Most High God, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Let the joy of the Lord shut up all the lions mouth, open the Red Sea and heal the land, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
