Today’s Inspiration: “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12. Without the Word of God, our minds can be confused and our hearts can be troubled by the challenges in this world be it finances, health or relationships. God’s word is able to bring clarity, convictions and discernment of our soul when our spirit is awakened by hearing the word of God.
Repentance is only possible when the word of God is preached and it separates us from sin. Healing is only possible when our wounds, pains, and hurts are separated from our hearts by the Word of God through Christ, taking them to the Cross. King David prayed,” Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:22-24. Wisdom in a Christian life resides in spending time with God and His Word. Our relationship with His Word brings tremendous peace, love and joy in the Spirit. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my mind and my heart be set apart by your Word of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Let me not lean on my own understanding, but to trust your Word with all my heart. Direct me with godly decisions, faith, and actions. As I commit all my prayers to you, lead me with your Holy Spirit and instructions daily through thy Word, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
