Today's Inspiration: Joshua was clueless as to how he was going to conquer Jericho. God always knows our thoughts and He appeared before Him as Commander of the army to lead them to battle against Jericho. So Joshua fell on his face to worship Him. Joshua 5:13-17. Joshua responded with reverence to the Lord by worshipping Him on his knees. V18. There is power in worship.

God can meet us anywhere in the midst of the marketplace or wherever we are. He does not need to wait till we are free to have a quiet time to worship Him before He visit us with a word of God. When it is His timing to speak or act, you have an encounter. Ecclesiastes 3:1. There is a time for everything.

Set your mind on things above not on things on the Earth which may perish. Things above are eternal. Colossians 3:2. Put on the new nature who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created you. V10. The old image does not align with God. Moses could not deliver the Israelites based on head knowledge. Till he is renewed in the wilderness, he could not succeed to free the Israelites from bondage. Our past failure is for us to be consistent in our walk with God in preparing for His plan to take root in our life for His greater purpose.

Therefore, if we want to succeed in His rescue mission, we must have our image renewed to that of Christ in righteousness and truth. God's will just have to be our will. It's through trials of life that our inner man is strengthened. God is more interested in our transformation to who He wants us to be more than head knowledge that lacks the energy and power of transformation. We have to live the faith that God desires of us to bear spiritual fruit that is ever lasting. God be praised.

Prayer: Abba Father, may we have the fullness of heart to serve you and let our intellect be transformed with your power and strength to attain success in all that we do. Knowing full well that You will not forsake us and always thinking Good of us, we claim victory in every battle against our foes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
