3 December 2021 Word by Senior Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: Life’s greatest fulfilment is rooted in the grace of giving. Until you learnt to give, you will not have the deep revelation of God’s heart and purpose in life.

One spiritual mentor taught me in early ministry that most people fear to give because of the fear of lack. It’s the stronghold of satan to prevent your blessing and to inflict poverty. He taught me to counter satan lies is to sow seeds of faith will break strongholds of lack and it did! Apostle Paul was encouraged by the Macedonian churches who sow out of their poverty by the grace of giving. This taught me about family as well. Generosity invoked in my spirit breaks all covetousness in my flesh to be free to give, sow and bless. 2 Corinthians 9:6.

In the all ministering years, I have never seen sad faces or in lack for people who are always sowing, serving and giving. They are filled with joy, purpose and fulfilment like Christ. On the contrary, self-centred people are never happy. Don’t be a hoarder for one will always be a loner. Learn to bless and share for God’s glory for God is the greatest giver. “ For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.” II Corinthians 8:12-15 NKJV

Prayer: O Lord My God, let I not just think about my self and welfare but more for others. I ask for thy grace of giving that I may be a blessing to others like you Jesus, who gave it all for my soul and eternal life. May I live a life of serving and giving, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
