Today’s Inspiration: “According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 3:10-11 NKJV. Apostle Paul speaks of the foundation of our spirituality and relationship with God is Christ. Every building’s height, size and weight has to be fully dependent on the foundation. Christ Jesus is the Word of God and without God’s Word, we would not have a firm foundation.
Jesus taught,” Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27. Christ is the rock of ages, the rock of our salvation and the rock of glory. Isaiah 26:4 In Him, we will not be shaken. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, your are my firm foundation and the cornerstone of my faith and spirituality. You were crucified for my sins at the Cross and you were resurrected for my redemption so that my faith is build on nothing less, but on Jesus Christ, my righteousness. You are the breakers of my challenges and the breakthrough of my testimonies. Your promises are Yes and Amen! My God in whom I trust, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
