29 September 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence. Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.” Proverbs‬ ‭13:2-4‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ The Bible says that our Word is like a double-edged Sword, for it can either protect or kill. It is also liken a Hammer which either build or breaks. Blessings and curses comes from the same tongue and we eat the fruit of our lips. Proverbs 18:20-21. To build godly descendants we have to speak godly words in their lives. The problem in today’s church is that we no longer read God’s word daily, and the root to our problems is that we only pray when we are in trouble and distress. If we don’t read God’s word, how do we know His promises, wisdom and commandments? How do we have faith? Romans 10:17. Building a relationship with God is with His Word.

God in the end of times is not just looking how we rebuild our personal prayer altar but also how we rebuild our love for His Word. Obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. God’s Word has the anointing and power to change our dire situation, circumstances and our future. Likewise, we are also accountable to God for the words we use daily. Many don’t repent of their ungodly, worldly and fleshly words and are bound by them. Jesus taught,” For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew‬ ‭12:34-37‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Therefore we thank God for His blood and His divine word which cleanses our sins and sanctify our lips daily that from our mouth, we can thank and praises God daily with His Holy Spirit. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for awakening my spirit and opening my eyes to know the importance and revelation of your Word and Prayer. Fill me with your Holy Spirit to rebuild the altar and the Word of God in my life. Let every records of my lips be filled with thanksgiving and praises unto your goodness. Humble my heart and remove all pride, that I may have the fear of the Lord daily to speak, walk and obey your Word daily as a son who obeys His Abba Father. For your Word is Spirit and Life forever and ever, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
