29 January 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬. This is the greatest revelation from our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus who fulfilled the law and the prophets with the New Commandment. Great works come from the mind, greater works come from wisdom, but the greatest work comes from the heart. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21

In 2024, do not put second as first. Don’t lose your divine priorities but seek God first His Kingdom and His righteousness in prayer, and all that is needed shall be added to us. Matthew 6:33. Saul and David has a distinct difference and it is in their hearts. The former puts blessings before the blesser, but the latter puts prayer before power. Who or what is the treasure in your heart? Is it your work, biz, family, or ministry? Is it your finances, relationships or health? Troubles began in Eden when Adam and Eve were deceived when they disobeyed God’s command by putting it second. Do not let anything become an idol in your life. Even anger, hatred, unforgiveness, jealousy and bitterness can be demonic idols in our hearts that needs to be broken. We can only remove all idols when we put God first. Setting priorities right is key for Kingdom Success.

Prayer: O Lord my God, for obedience is better than sacrifices and offerings to you. Forgive me if I had put any second things before you. Realign me with your divine plans, purpose and prayers. Show me your glory and reveal your presence in my heart, O Lord. Let I not forget all the good things you have done and meditate on them. May I make your House of Prayer and Tabernacle my priority, and to seek your face first in all your kairos time and seasons, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
