29 December 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; So he who waits on his master will be honored. As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.” Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ The world is always focusing on self but the kingdom put their eyes on the Lord. Psalm 121. The Wisdom of God speaks about building strong relationship with God, self and others. We cannot live this life isolated, independent and insensitive to others. Covid has caused much emotional and mental distress and the fear of reconnecting, restoration and even reinstatement. A kingdom life is a life of Koinonia, the fellowship in the Spirit of Christ, when the Holy Spirit came upon the day of Pentecost. It bears the fruit of the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:22-23.

Love, faith and hope in Christ builds relationship with one another. It’s not possible to know one’s heart without knowing the Holy Spirit, who brings truth within us. Most of our struggles in life is surprisingly not with things or even people but with ourselves. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. I Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬. ‭Breakthrough comes within the Spirit man, knowing the truth and the roots. We have to remove all negative thoughts, emotions and feelings because they are not from God. They derives from the devil who brings fear, doubts and deceptions through toxic perceptions of self, things and people. 2 Timothy 1:7. Christ came to bring love, repentance and redemption to our souls to be overcomers. It is for freedom that Christ sets us free and not be entangled with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, take me deeper in relationship with you. Reveal the deep things of God within my heart. For greater is you who is in me than the devil that is in the world. Let I not look at only what I have or what I can do but what you have and what you can do, supernaturally and marvellously, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
