28 May 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:27-29.‬ ‭

We may not know God’s plan but we know God has plans for us, to prosper us not to harm us. He desires to give us hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. In Egypt, idolatry represents the lust of our eyes, covetousness represents the lust of our flesh, and disobedience represents the pride of our life. Moses has to die to self, carry his cross in order to follow God. He has to overcome the spirit of rejection by forsaking Egypt to walk in faith, love and hope. He discovered and unravelled the power of deliverance through the Blood of the Lamb, the power of the Cross hidden in the Old Testament. Wilderness time is not wasted time. It is to humble us and reconcile us with God. Only repentance can bring forth redemption and restoration by faith. When we are aligned to God’s plan, He will open up the Red Sea for you and family. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe this is a season to forsake Egypt, and forgive my past for your plans are higher than mine and thoughts are greater. Let me seek ye first your kingdom and righteousness for your plans brings glory to your mighty Name. May the Blood of the Lamb, the power of your Holy Spirit, and Word of your wisdom direct me across the Red Sea, that the enemies I see today, I shall see them no more, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
