Today's Inspiration: God formed those He created for His glory. Isaiah 43:7. If we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:12.
God engraved us at the palm of His hands for eternity. True believers should be grateful that they are spared facing the court on Judgement day. Since we have so great a rich life we should strive to keep the loving relationship within the family of God and be mindful of our heavenly destiny. Since our citizenship is in heaven, we do not need to think of earthly things or fight for them.
As believers of the Lord our main purpose is to glorify God and to preach the Gospel. For the kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy spirit the primary Keys of the fruit of the spirit. Romans 14:17. So we should not have conflicts within the church but instead resolve them and forgive each other.
Sometimes we don't want to address conflicts because we have pride. If we don't resolve the conflicts, relationship still remains broken. Conflicts need to be resolved and not ignored. We fear resolving for fear that the conversation leads you to be at greater fault than the other party. The pride of life is not of the Father but it's of the world. 1 John 2:16.
On the contrary conflicts grieves God who desires reconciliation and peace. When there are disagreements we are bearing grudges against one another. By so doing we actually lose touch with God. The key is to forgive one another.
There is power in forgiveness. Disunity in the church destroys the integrity of the testimony of the church. Many things can trigger a conflict. One is pride, lack of Christian love and the other is losing sight of heaven and forgetting the purpose and goal of Christianity. As Christians we must make a difference. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord help me to forgive those offenders who do not know not what they are doing. I need your grace to curb my pride and reactions which you consider as sinful attitudes. As conflicts shut down blessings, I long to be delivered of this plight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
