Today's Inspiration: A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold. Proverbs 22:1. Apply this truth to your mind and heart that you be not easily enticed by the enemy to your hurt.

Do not overwork to be rich, because of your own understanding, cease. Proverbs 23:4. Riches do not endure forever. It's all in the Sovereignty of His will to bless. Seeking for the favor of God should be our priority.

Instead excel in your work. There is no short cut to success. God put us together with like-minded man to sharpen the countenance of each other so that we can compliment our gifts with that of others for His glory.

Watch your words for a man is valued by His words. When our thoughts are towards His goal in our life, we will strive to achieve His will. We do not know what holds our tomorrow but we know what Jesus says. We may not understand our tomorrow but one thing we know, whatever we do He is there to hold our hand and to direct our path. So trust Him with your whole heart and lean not on your understanding. His ways and His thoughts are higher than yours. What seems impossible for men is possible for God.

Riches are not eternal nor a crown endure to all generations. He gave and replaced according to His Sovereign will. We cannot fathom the tasks with which the sons of men are occupied. Ecclesiastes 3:10. Neither can we perceive the work God has in mind from beginning to the end. All we have to do is to follow His leading for He will make all things beautiful in His time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. So do not be impulsive but ponder over the consequences before you act. God be praised for His wisdom.

Prayer: Lord grant me the grace of patiently waiting upon You to hear Your direction for my life in this season and every season of my life. With me is a pound of flesh but with you are bountiful wisdom for our whole being. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
