Today’s Inspiration: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 There were no other times when the world was so desperately in need of the peace and presence of God in Christ. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came and had overcame the world with the Cross of His unconditional love of God and the Blood of His unwavering grace of God to give us an abundant life. John 10:10 An abundant life is not about riches of the world but a life if richness in Christ.
The things of the world cannot give you love, peace and joy in your soul. Strangely, the more your have the more you are dissatisfied. One can be rich but broken and one may not have much but rich in love. What is good in our eyes may not be good in God’s eyes. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 God always has a better plan than our own so always give our plans to God and He will direct our steps. Proverbs 16:9 When we cast our cares to God in prayer, He takes away our stress. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, move us into your perfect will, plans and purpose as we pray in the Spirit. All beginning and ending belongs to you, for you are the alpha and omega of my life and faith. I am too blessed to be stressed, too forgiven to be offended, and too loved to be lonely, in Jesus Name, Amen.
