Today’s Inspiration: “And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Romans 8:30. Don’t run away from your Calling for you are predestined for the glory of the Lord. We see many in the body of Christ today struggling because they do not know their Calling. It is irrevocable because it is written even before we were conceived in the mother’s womb. Romans 11:29. We were set apart for God’s goodness, greatness and Holiness.
Satan uses our sin and fleshly desires to steal, kill and destroy God’s great plan in our lives. But God uses our sufferings and trials to turn our eyes back towards Him and His Calling. Don’t be disappointment for Joseph’s pit and prison time is to prepare Him for the palace. He told his brothers,” You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20. God’s calling overwhelms our past and pain so that we can heal, soar and save many who need Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour. Remember faith will always push you to your calling but fear will always push you to your failing. 1 John 4:18. For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power, love and a disciplined mind. 2 Timothy 1:7.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my ears be popped and eyes be opened to be attentive to your calling in my life. Lead me in your everlasting ways as I lay hold on your Word and be led by your Holy Spirit. Set me apart from the world that I may see the greater things of God from above in Jesus' Name, Amen.
