Today’s Inspiration: “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 NIV. Worry comes when we put our eyes on things, issues and people and not on God, His Word, being led by His Holy Spirit. When we fall short of thinking God is good all the time, fear, doubts and unbelief slips in and causes foothold of worries. We have to learn how to guard our minds and especially the heart from all emotional stress through prayer, worship and meditating on His word daily. Proverbs 4:23.
Jesus taught: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3. The revelation of a Child is supernatural. It doesn’t worry about money, people, politics, crisis, criticism, or when the next meal is going to come. His or her full dependency, trust and hope is on God. A Child’s eyes is always filled with new expectations and new things that will unfold by God. A Child’s mind is always teachable and pure. A Child’s faith is always believing, trusting, and delightful on drawing near to Jesus. A Child’s mind is not tainted or heavy laden with past but inspired of the future of God’s plan and His kingdom. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, create in me a pure heart and give me clean hands like a child of God in your kingdom. Renew my mind and change my heart with a steadfast spirit. For I will not worry for tomorrow for tomorrow will worry for itself. Let me seek you first and your kingdom, for in your hands I shall lay it all down and put my trust in you like a Child, to be filled with fullness of your peace and joy again, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
