26 September 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV. Life is not just about the beginning or the ending but the process and the in between that matters to God’s intent of creation. We are wonderfully made to bring love, faith and hope to the world like Christ. Psalm 139:14. But somehow the devil might have in the past or our growing years came to steal, kill and destroy God’s plan and purpose for us, which is to prosper our souls and give us an abundant life. John 10:10.

We discovered in the ministry of inner healing that many souls do not give themselves or cares to God. We tends to keep our pain, wounds, shame, failures, fears, anguish, jealousy, unforgiveness and abuses etc. to our ourselves. All these can even be hidden easily in the label of Christianity or religiosity. We can come to church weekly but not be surrendered to God. These memories and emotions are toxicity to the soul and are strongholds of the enemy. We need the power of the Cross and the Blood of Jesus to break all these bondages, cleanse our souls, and sanctify our lives, giving all to Jesus as we surrender in prayer. Healing, breakthroughs, restoration and renewal shall take place when we yield to the Holy Spirit. It takes both conviction and courage to surrender to God.

Prayer: O Lord my God, guide me to cast all my cares, fears, and anxieties to you. Let me come to find rest in your presence and lay down all my burdens at Calvary hill. By your stripes, forgive all my past and trespasses and let my soul find peace in your love, grace and mercy once again. I believe this is a season of intimacy, transparency, and authenticity with you. Guide me with your wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
