26 September 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭3:12-14.‬ ‭Renewal of our minds doesn’t come from knowledge or information but truth in the Spirit through repentance. Romans 12:2. We cannot remove our sins, painful past, bitterness hurts and guilt in our lives without the blood of Jesus and without repentance there is no shedding of blood or atonement of sins.

We thank God for His grace daily to restart and reset our lives with a new heart through repentance. Ezekiel 36:26. If a person so anointed such as apostle Paul would confess his weaknesses and in need of Christ daily for His grace, how much more we would need forgiveness from the Lord to change and be transform into His likeness. Genesis 1:27. Families would only have healing, restoration and reconciliation when there is repentance to God and forgiveness to one another. 2 Chronicles 7:14. We need to remove our stony hearts in order to receive a loving one. Only a new wine skin can hold and contain new wine from the Lord. Repentance is the most gracious, beautiful, strong and loving providence of God through Jesus Christ, His only begotten son. He leads us heavenward. It’s never too late to repent and never too early to forgive. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me with the grace of your Holy Spirit to repent all my sins and wrong doing as I forgive the ones who hurt me the most. Let my repentance be cleansed by your blood and my heart be exchanged with yours. Make me a new vessel and wineskin for your use and fill, for your anointing shall break all yokes in Jesus' Name, Amen!
