26 June 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message.” John‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Our Words have spiritual influences and authority in our lives for they can be blessings or curses. Christ final prayers in the garden of gethsemane was sanctification and it begins with our lives and our words in every days of our lives. God doesn’t just look at how we speak in Church but also at home, marketplace, and ministry. Psalm 139:12. Many come for prayers to have breakthrough for their families but few are willing to change their ways of ungodly communication.

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. James‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭Spiritual grow cannot be judged but loved through Christ. We can’t shout or scold our children to draw close to the Lord. We can only lead them by the fruit of the Spirit in words and action to be more like Christ for they watches us daily. Jesus prayer is to sanctify us so that others around too will be blessed. God’s prophetic word for us is to edify, exhort and comfort one another. 1 Corinthians 14:3. Sanctification brings forth inward transformation, breakthroughs and spiritual growth. Allow God’s Holy Spirit to change our hearts, renew our minds, and cleanse our tongues.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let the words of my mouth and meditation in my heart be pleasing to you. Forgive me and heal me of any anguish, bitterness or resentments of past wounds. Let there be a change in my words and actions according to your Word, Way, and Wisdom, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
