25 November 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.” I Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ A pure heart is a sanctified heart by the Holy Spirit. He was the one who turned David’s heart into repentance of his sinful actions and blessed Him with the restoration of salvation. Psalms 51:10. David has always been known of a man after God’s own heart, a holy and pure heart. David was all willing to do the will of God. Acts 13:22.

Sins, hurts, abuses and disobedience in life can harden our hearts just as Israel did despite all the miracles, signs and wonders that God did to deliver them. Without a sanctified heart, one is not born again as an incorruptible seed. Families are broken because of hardened hearts and only God can give us a new one by the Holy Spirit. Prophet Ezekiel prophesied,” I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭26‬-‭27.‬ ‭The will of God is always to love one another just as how much Christ loved us and gave His life. John 15:13. Love is always measure or plumb line of God. So do not hardened your hearts, repent, forgive and ask God for a new heart and spirit which always hears, do and yield to the will of God. His divine Healing can flow into you today. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I need your new heart this day. I repent of all my offences, anger, bitterness, hatred and unforgiveness in my soul. I desire a sanctified heart like Christ, who always loves you and willing to do your will. Take away my stony heart and give me a loving one. Heal me of all past hurts and pain, so that in Christ Jesus I shall be made a new creation. For the old has passed and the new has come, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
