Today's Inspiration: There is a difference between rebellion and stubbornness. Rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Both lead to destruction because it is rejection of the word of the Lord. 1 Samuel 15:13.
The Lord chooses to promote one and demote the other. Vashti was prideful and refused the summon of the King so she was replaced by Esther the queen. Behind this decision is His plans for salvation of the Jews. Hence, behind every adversity, God has a plan not for destruction but for an opportunity.
So never despair when adversity befall you. Seek out His plans for your life. God be praised
