Today’s Inspiration: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” Acts 3:19. When I was praying in this pandemic and endemic, the Lord is revealing many souls are burnt out, worn out and dried up. Ironically we can’t do without technology in today’s context but technology has also its strongholds of addiction and oppressions. We are more aware of what’s going on online than on-site, the virtual over reality. We desperately need a time of refreshing of the Holy Spirit, the tangible presence of God.
For a spiritual awakening and revival in our spirit, we have to “throw off” what is not from God or not pleasing to Him and repentance is the key to redemption, reconciliation, restoration. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:1-3.
It’s time to break from our busyness, packed schedule and unrealistic expectations in our atmosphere to seek God face and His Word. We need the anointing of Holy Spirit to break all fears, anxieties, and stresses to usher in God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding to refresh our souls and healing to our wellness.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I repent of my sins or even allowing the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy my time with you. Today I surrender my life to your set time, your set Word, and your set destiny for thy Kingdom’s calling and purposes. Reveal the deeper things in my spirit through your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
