Today's Inspiration: If we live in the spirit, we must walk in the spirit. We are not to provoke one another neither envy each other. Galatians 5:24-25. By provoking one another to anger breaks one's relationship with each other. Envying each other is due to lack of trust. We should not envy someone who is better than us but instead rejoice with them in their victories.
The words we hear are not ours but the Father's who live in us and makes our home with Him. John 14:24. Hence if we do not abide by the words that are from our Father's, we do not truly love Him.
Everyone of us falls short of the glory of God. This is why Paul exhorts us to cleanse ourselves continually maturing in Holiness and in the fear of God. Hence we are to revere Him who dwells inside of us by searching deeply the words that will convict us to a continuous change and change is a process. We are to have the passion to put sin out of our lives diligently and actively and rededicate ourselves to Him afresh. Our flesh and our spirit clamor for our attention. This is why we need to subdue our flesh by continually and daily repent of our frailty, and ask God to help us fight against our carnal nature. Our old man must be crucified with Him that the fleshy nature maybe done away with that we should no longer be slave to unrighteousness. Romans 6:6. We need to continually watch out if carnality rules or our spirit rules. The one who rules will determine the status of our spiritual condition. And if Christ lives in you, the flesh is dead but the spirit is life because of righteousness by faith. Romans 5:1. Though we rebel against Him many times, yet His mercy and forgiveness reigns forever. Daniel 9:9. God be praised.
Abba Father I submit all my cares to You. May our hearts be totally surrendered to You that You will always reign in our hearts with the love of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
