24 March 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ In the end of times, there is going to be lukewarmness, prayerlessness and lawlessness which we are seeing so rampant today globally. Churches can become more like Hollywood than the Hill of Calvary. There is no fear of God and reverence to His Word. No one would expect conviction, repentance and change. Is this the Church Christ died for to become? Has all conscience seared by hot iron? It’s time for a great spiritual awakening to the light of the gospel, the full image of Christ. Matthew 25 is a wake-up call.

Those that God has called, chosen and awakened in this generation knows that the moment we no longer depend on God for prayers or to even open up our bibles to eat His manna is the sure sign of lukewarmness, backsliding, and unbelief. It is time our prayers be like Elijah who will gird tightly his cloak and his belt for God’s next powerful movement of His revival fire and rain upon the land of Israel after three years of drought and forsaken land and with a broken altar. 1 Kings 18:43-46. His whole weight was on the Lord. The altar of our temple must never stop burning and the awakened virgin’s lamp must be filled with oil with their wick trimmed. Matthew 25:7. Without the fear of the Lord, there will not be change in our attitudes, behaviour and character to be like Christ. The foolish virgins were prideful, complacent and selfish but the wise ones were watchful, prudent, and submissive in reverence to the Lord, working in their most Holy faith. Christ is coming for the lambs and not the goats. He is coming for those who are humble, obedient, and teachable. Let’s become H.O.T Christians and disciples of Christ. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, set me on fire of the Holy Spirit! For you have thoughts to prosper me and not to harm, to give me a hope and future. May I never lose the first love of your salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit who has destined me for your greater works. May my Spirit always be your lamp, to be used to light up the world with glory of God. You are the potter and I am the clay. May the zeal of the Lord always be upon me, in spirit, soul, and body in Jesus' Name, Amen.
