Today's Inspiration: Sibling rivalry confronted during childhood again and again has always been the cause of our hidden hurts and anger that remain dormant till the age of volcanic eruption. Indeed anger works like a volcano and once provoked can be destructive to our soul. David and Joseph suffered sibling rivalry whose brothers' defiance have caused them to suffer years of oppression. Nevertheless, they did not allow Satan to hinder their calling of God to the highest place of honour. Circumstances in your life is not conclusive evidence of what you have or have not done for God. Do not allow unmet needs or emotional wounds incurred in your nurturing years to have a lingering impact on your life. You are what God has intended you to be irrespective of what you are going through. Instead submit the Injustice to God and be at peace with Him so that prosperity will come to you. Job 22:21.

Know who you are serving. Only patience and perseverance and change of beliefs through reflection on His word will set you free. John 8:32. Lift up your face to God always. Do not allow your volcano to erupt. Present your case to Him. He will hear you and what you decide on will be done and light will shine your ways. Job 22:27.

Whatever the circumstances, remember God's covenant for you is that you will not be forsaken. He knows the ways you are adopting, and when testing is over, you will emerge as gold like the ancient heroes in the Bible in particular Jacob, David and Joseph who were greatly persecuted by their siblings. Job 23:10. Be inspired that God has great plans for you. Do not depart from the commands of His lips. Treasure His words more than your physical daily bread. Job 23:10. Look beyond your afflictions. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord help me to see what lies ahead of my afflictions. Help me to comprehend truths and its value that my conscience will not reproach me all the days of my life. Amen.
