Today‘s Inspiration: ”Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.“ Philippians 3:13-14 NIV. To advance forward in 2024, we need to cut soul ties, yokes, bondages and strongholds from the past. Whatever not planted by the Lord in our Spirit and Mind with His Word, must be uprooted for us to move forward into God good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2.
Spiritual maturity is not about spiritual giftedness but spiritual growth in Christlikeness. You can activate your giftings but not consecrate your conscience. To grow in the spirit in not just moving forward but heavenward, which is becoming more like Christ, seeking not the earthly things but heavenly blessings. Colossians 3:1 Are we still complaining, cursing or criticising about the past? If so, we can’t advance because whatever we bound on earth with our words is bound in heaven. Only repentance, atonement and breaking all soul ties from the past can all spiritual baggages, rubbish, and trash be removed. Leave them behind and embrace Christ. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, break all bondages, pull down all strongholds and cut all soul ties which are hindering your blessings. (Name them as spirit leads) Burn my lips with thy Holy coals, crucify my flesh with thy Cross, and sanctify my sins with thy Blood. Lord Jesus, fill me with your Spirit to be born again, dead to my sins, and resurrected in a new life with a mind of Christ. Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart with a sound mind be pleasing to you forever, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
