24 January 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.” Psalms‬ ‭128‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬. The third day of the Lunar New Year reminds us that this is the year of Gimmel, the 3rd alphabet of the Hebrew character. Let this be a year of recompense, restoration and restarting since coming through and out on the 3rd year since Covid hit the world. It’s character is formed by the Hebrew word of Spirit and Sword, meaning we as children of God have to be led by the Spirit in all we do and the Sword represents the Word of God, which holds His wisdom, knowledge and understanding for our lives. Proverbs 9:10. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Family that prays together stays together with the Lord’s anointing. Prayer brings forth the reverence of the Lord and reveals His wisdom at home, marketplace and church. The Fear of the Lord brings tremendous blessing and character development in our spiritual life and family. It’s prophesied,” Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭128‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Your prayers shall bring forth the family salvation, restoration and reconciliation for this is the ministry of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19. God is never short of miracles, signs and wonders and He rides on the praises and prayers of His children. Be hungry for more of His Spirit and His Word, for you shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe this is the year of recompense for my family, marketplace and church. I believe you have given me a renewed mind to move in your miracles, signs and wonders and producing divine fruit of the Spirit. May my repentance, worship and faith be pleasing in your sight. Let thy Spirit and Sword bring forth breakthroughs upon breakthroughs in 2023, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
