24 January 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation” II Corinthians‬ ‭5:18.‬ ‭Bitterness, hatred, unforgiveness, and vengeance are the worst human tragedies. It gives satan the legal right to come and steal, kill and destroy in our lives. But why do we harbour them unknowingly?

Many don’t realise we have fear inside of us because the enemy may had planted lies and deception via our pain, hurts, rejections and abuses in our primitive years. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and disciplined or sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal the roots that were not planted by God, so they can be uprooted. Matthew 15:13.

Satan's lies are like seeds of fear which cripple our faith, love, and hope. Just as the body requires the soap to be cleansed so does our soul needs the Word of God to be sanctified in prayer, anointing and healing. Negative emotions and reactions can be strongholds that are needed to be pulled down, uprooted, destroyed and overthrown so that the Word of God can be seeded and grow like a fruitful vine for 2022. Jeremiah 1:9. This rebuilds our relationship with God. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, search my heart and know my anxious thoughts, remove and uproot any offences or bitter roots that the enemy has planted in the past. May new seeds of your Word be planted in my heart as a well watered garden. Let your ministry of reconciliation draw me closer to God before His and throne of grace, mercy and everlasting love for me and family, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
