Today’s Inspiration: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Putting the full amour of God is not about a spiritual idea or a prophetic act of declaration but rather the discipleship lifestyle which we are living in. You can’t just defeat the devil by just speaking the words like the sons of sceva but to live the life of discipleship to be a soldier for Christ like the disciples.

A soldier’s life is not his own, the rules are not his own and the ways are not his own. He or she is a yielded vessel and a soul fully surrendered to God in obedience. Rebellion, lukewarmness and lawlessness are just the opposite traits which are the devil’s playing field. Apostle said,”“No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭4.‬ ‭So does it mean we don’t have a free will, obviously not. It is that we choose to align our will to the will of God and that’s when we have peace in our spirit, soul, and body. We die to ourselves and be resurrected with the Spirit of God. The amour of God is a spiritual armour that operates in our spirit man.

Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me with your Holy Spirit to abide in your Word, your ways and your workings in my body, as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let me live a Spiritual life that carries the full amour of God as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Work inside of me daily and make me a workmanship of the Father in heaven, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
