23 July 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little. The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of wisdom. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs‬ ‭10:20-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. God knows all the things we do but more importantly what are the words we speak in our lives. They will be held accountable at the day of judgement. Matthew 12:36. Most of the hurting words in our lives comes from the wounds in our hearts and past, and pride will always prevent us from healing and encountering God in revealing them with His truth. John 8:32.

Without prayer, you will not know your sins and the ungodly words being spoken in your life. Psalm 139:23 If we reflect deeply in the Spirit, our words are formative of our lives. Why is sin passed down in generations? They are imparted by words and words lead our actions. It is a vicious cycle which only can be broken by the Blood of Yeshua and the Power of the Cross so that we begin to walk a new life of salvation with God’s eternal Word. Galatians 3:13. God’s blessing comes from His divine Word and He adds no sorrow to it. The more we want of the World, the more our hearts run cold. The more you want to be heard and be right, the more your pride will put others down. All these come before one’s fall. Proverbs 16:18. Therefore building the altar of righteousness in prayer, guards our tongues and hearts to have the fullness of God in Christ Jesus. When we pray, let’s pray with the Word of God, a divine language that will bless your heart and people around you. It’s time for change and serious in prayer.

Prayer: O Lord my God, sanctify my lips and forgive all the careless, useless and hurtful words in my life. I repent and turn from all my prideful ways and be submissive to your commandments. I need more of your Holy Spirit to fill me and change. Let thy word and voice direct my path with your wisdom, knowledge and understanding, that I will not cause harm but be a blessing to others with a new spirit of edification, exhortation and comfort, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
