23 January 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ This is the most divine instruction of Christ to His disciples to be a witnesses of God’s divine intervention. He who dwells in the secret place of God shall abide under the shadow of His wings. Psalm 91:1

Prayer is naturally supernatural because it reflects our relationship with God and our personal witness of His glory. Our spiritual life and growth begins with our personal prayer altar and not religious works. Prayer is not babbling of words or profound oration like the Pharisees or Sadducees in the public but what you do in the dark, alone and where no one sees you. There are problems you faces which no one knows or even sins or iniquities you are battling with. Take it to the Lord in prayer alone and He will come and help us. Talk to God, walk with Him, and seek Him first not man. Matthew 6:33. You will discover how much He loves you and know the thoughts for you to heal, restore, prosper and guide you with His Holy Spirit. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I repent of my busyness for you and let my feet be quicken to pray than being distracted. It is your face that I shall seek, your word shall hear, and commandments I shall abide. Bring me from the outer courts and lead me by the Spirit into your Holy Place of worship and prayer. Let this year be a filled with deep time of intimacy, encounters and relationship building, in Jesus Name, Amen.
