Today’s Inspiration: “He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!” Psalms 107:20-21 NKJV. Prayer is not just uttering words from the Bible or religiously keep performing rituals but being mindful and willingly desire to know who God truly is. The Word of God is the image of God. John 1:1. Prayer opens up our imagination and visions of Christ Jesus our Saviour, Healer and King. Like the women with the issue of blood, who saw Jesus and in her vision believed that if she can touch His hem, she will be healed. Mark 5:28
Who do you say I am, Jesus asked? Matthew 16:15. Who do you say He is in your prayer? Or Who do you see in your quiet time, meditation and devotion? Vision of healing is extremely powerful. There was once I was limping for six months because of issues of pain in my ankles. No medication or any form of therapy helped me. I was travelling to Indonesia, Batam for my work in 2014. I remembered praying on a boat in the Spirit and suddenly I saw rain coming upon me and it was hot, not the normal ones we have physically. It was dripping all the way from my head to my toes. And suddenly God’s Word was released to my spirit and tongue saying,” Your faith has healed you.” Lo and Behold I was awaken by the ship captain because everyone had left the vessel except me and I quickly took up my bag and ran to the check point. And when all my physically senses came back to reality, the pain was completely gone! Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me and show me thy vision of healing and breakthroughs. Draw me closer to see the Father’s miraculous work in my life. Let my faith be like the woman who touched you and believed. Let thy Word be thy Power that discharged from you towards my faith in you, for by your stripes I am completely healed in Jesus Name, Amen!
