Today’s Inspiration: “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:6-8 NKJV. The World is always in the taking to gain more but the Kingdom of God is opposite to the World, where one operates in giving to need less. About more than a decade ago I lost my corporate job as a manager and my firstborn just birthed. Back then I was the sole bread winner and was totally lost and didn’t know the principle of kingdom sowing. The fear of lack struck me and was going through a dark and bleak time.
Every Sunday I was broken at the altar and one day as I was kneeling in prayer I heard the Lord telling me,” My child, build my Church, and I will build yours. Soon after I was having dreams and visions and even when I was without job, I took a step of faith to tithe and sow as a covenant to God. I believe it was the work of the Holy Spirit. One night I given a cheque in my dream and I was so happy because I remembered the generous amount on it. Lo and Behold, the following week I received a call for a job interview and it was successful. But what shocked me was when I was signing the appointment letter, the final salary was exactly what was given to me in the dream. Glory to God! God’s word is true,” There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.” Proverbs 11:24-26
Prayer: O Lord my God, all that I have belongs to you and all that I can give is my worship unto you, as a pleasing and sweet aroma of sacrifice. Thank you for teaching me tithing, sowing and learning how to be generous in my spirit, for you are the greatest sower. May those around me will never have lack as you anoint my head with oil and my cup runneth over, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
