22 July 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me.” Psalms‬ ‭55:17-18‬ NKJV. Without prayer we will always be fighting and struggling with problems using our own strength and flesh. God will not fight our battles if we don’t bring it to the altar. 2 Chronicles 20:15. If we do not hear the voice of God first, the voice of the world, the flesh and the devil will take over. Therefore, let prayer be our the sword on our right and shield on our left for a warrior will not put down His armour till peace is established. Ephesians 6:11

The key to victory in prayer is beholding fully on Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Prayer is giving attention to the Word of God, and hearing what His Word is telling you to do. “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:20-23.‬ ‭Remember this victory over close adversaries and against imminent strongholds is when our focus on Christ is absolute, complete and unbreakable building the altar of God. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, hide me in your love and bring me to my knees at your secret place. Let me be still and know that you are my God, my refuge, my strong tower and my fortress. Let your peace which surpasses all knowledge and understanding lead my heart and mind with your wisdom to do the right things which pleases God and not man. Direct my steps O Lord, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
