Today’s Inspiration: “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” Psalm 139:7. Everyday we are trying to fit everything into our schedule be it family, work, and ministry. Luke 10:41.
Many things can take away our time, devotion, and communion with the Lord. We face challenges because God is not first in our lives. Jesus revealed the difference between Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-41. Jesus wasn’t saying being hardworking was wrong for Martha but her priority was.
Without God, there is all to worry but with God, there is nothing to be worried. Matthew 6:34. “Does he who fashioned the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge? The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.” Psalms 94:9-11. Unless God builds, we labor in vain. Psalm 127:1. Mary chose the right and good portion, which is the Lord, in worship, rest, and hearing His Word. Peace comes when we put all our trust in God first in Prayer. So don’t wake up as a Martha but a Mary. Mary seek the Lord first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and her blessed portion will always remain with her. When we have favour with God, we shall have favour with man, for He makes all things work out for the good for those who love Him. Romans 8:28.
Prayer: O Lord My God, you are omnipotent, omniscience, and omnipresent. Who is a God who lives inside of our hearts, and greater is He than all challenges and adversaries I faced? Only you Jesus, is the captain of my ship and spiritual mentor to my destiny. Help me overcome all my anxious thoughts and stress, and let me enter your rest, peace, and presence in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
