Today’s Inspiration: Life is not following the world but following the the giver of Life. One day the Holy Spirit told me the way to hell is gentle and subtle and many are walking into it unaware, through all directions of deceptions and temptations. I was burdened to pray for the Narrow Gate, our Christ Jesus be revealed to families and marketplace. Jesus taught,” Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NIV
Remember only sheep enters through the gate (Jesus) but the world tries to enters from other ways, who are thieves and robbers. Jesus said,” I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:9-10.
The world is covetous but the Kingdom is generous. The world looks for “things” but the Kingdom looks for souls. Sin is the wide gate and Wisdom is the narrow one. Let’s teach our children or grandchildren the Narrow gate of way, truth, and life. John 14:6.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the gate and I am your sheep, for you my Shepherd who knows me and I follow you. You know my season of pastures, my season of rest, my season of lost and season of mess, but in you I hear, obey, and trust, my God who knows the best, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
