20 September 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” Psalms‬ ‭147‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Our time with God and His Word determines the depth of our dependency on Him. The above verses speaks about living a Holy Spirit driven life and not a self dependent one. Breakthrough comes when we are more Christ conscious than self conscious.

The Word of God gives us hope and this hope doesn’t disappoint because it is the love of God that is poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭29‬-‭30.‬ Life is learning to love with Christlikeness and Christ’s unfailing love compels us to live a life of salvation, sanctification and service. John 17:17.

Prayer: O Lord my God, My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For you are my God who lights up my lamp; my God who lights up my darkness. You lifted me from the pit of despair, out of the miry clay; you set my foot upon a rock and made my door steps firm. You made my feet like a deer who stands upon the heights, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
