Today's Inspiration: The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining every light till the full light of day. Proverbs 4:18. What a description for the path of the righteous! Wherever and whenever we walk, our light that follows us shines even in darkest places as dark as a tunnel. Have you heard that at the end of the tunnel is the light? When we are at the end of the road, Jesus came to our rescue to bring us light. When the world is in darkness He caused His light to shine by declaring to the universe 'Let there be light' and there was light and how He separates the light from darkness.
As believers, we should not walk in darkness even when faced with the storms of life but unlike others we are able to rejoice and thank Him for the trials as His time has come to put our human nature down so that He can lift up our spirits. Such is the Divine attributes of God. He is always in the business of transforming our darkness to light. It all depends on the measure of our faith to walk through darkness into the Light.
God has given us the weapons to overcome every storm of life. He has even given us the invisible armour that shields us from fiery darts of the enemy and the invisible boot of peace to stay calm wherever the storms of fury raged against us. Ephesians 6:10-18. Above all, He has given the invisible sword of the spirit that shut the mouths of the lions Daniel 6:21-22 and invites the author of our salvation to cool the raging fire Daniel 3:25 against us. Such are the privileges of being a believer. No one can come against us for He has promised to be in our presence wherever we go and that whatever comes against us will not overcome us for He will be with us and will rescue us. Jeremiah 1:19. He is ever watching to see His word being fulfilled. Jeremiah 1:12. When He is with us, who dare to come against us? Romans 8:31.
Therefore, whatever you do, carry His glory and the invisible weapons you have and favor will follow you. Favor only follows a person who knows Him personally and whose Light shines through him. Be an apple of God's eyes for favor with God attracts favor with men. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord I will not forget Your love for us and be the Light of our salvation always. Let our path be like the gleam of the dawn that blossoms to brightness throughout the day. Let darkness flee from us and let us not forget Your love for us at Cavalry that erases the sins of our life so that the stings of death no longer has a hold over us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
