20 November 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”II Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. In ministering to hurting souls in the world, we always hear people saying no one understands them, cares or love them. When a soul is wounded or hurt from young, he or she tends to seek love from the wrong places and people which causes more pain. It can be a cyclical one.

Emotional or inner wounds causes spiritual blindness of oneself. The crux to the issue is that the wounded doesn’t even understand oneself so how does anyone understand them. Only Christ can understand us inside out. Emotional healing or inner healing brings forth the mirror of God’s glory because it is only through Christ, we can see the truth to ourselves and His truth sets us free. John 8:32. Only the Holy Spirit can bring the knowledge of our attitude, behaviour and character to our understanding. That’s how we see people repenting from their anger, rage, bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment, jealousy and so much more emotional disposal to be done. Sanctification is how a soul can be truly free from sins, suppression, and sadness, having love, peace and joy in the Lord.

Prayer: O Lord my God, search my heart, test me and know all my anxieties. As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man. If there are any hurts, offences, injustice or grievance, I choose to release them to you at the Cross and lead my spirit in repentance and forgiveness by your love, grace, and mercy. In your presence, there is liberty. For I know who the son sets free is free indeed, in Jesus Name, Amen.
