Today’s Inspiration: “Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.” Psalm 8:1-2. There is power in the praises of God’s children, because as a born again disciple of Jesus Christ, we move with childlike faith and delight in the Lord. Praises confuses the enemy and routs demonic forces pulling down strongholds.
We need to teach our children to praise God in every situation. Gratitude is the best attitude that pleases God. Even when we give gifts to our children, tell them that they are from the Lord, because He is the Jehovah Jireh, our provider. Directing our children with deep relationship with God is top priority, our first love. Revelation 2:4. I still remember a relative asked my daughter who gave her the new toy she is holding, and she said, “Jesus.” The relative was surprised because she wasn’t a believer and Christ could be shared. If our children know God is their sole provider, they will learn to give, tithe, and sow with a generous and cheerful heart. 2 Corinthians 9:7. It is not how much more we can have that will make us happy but how much God has blessed us. A thankful heart a day keeps the devil away. Praises is God’s stronghold that will silence all mental accusations, emotional echoes and demonic voices. Praises is our spiritual weapon and triumph over the enemy. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I desire to praise you seven times a day like David does. In good and bad times, you are still my God, my Jehovah and my Jireh. I chose to praise your Holy and mighty name and declare my children shall be a generation of resounding praise, and true worshippers of God. Teach me with thy Word that I shall be your witness to all my descendants that they shall serve the God of Israel, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
