Today‘s Inspiration: Blessed Happy New Year 2024 (5784) to all families!
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV. Let’s keep our eyes on Christ for New Vision in 2024. Past three years has placed many challenges and burdens to many homes and families. Like Peter’s eyes were supposed to be on Christ to do the impossible calling to the Lord on water but were caught up by the winds of fears, anxieties and worries. But as he sank he cried out to Jesus, and He was lifted up by the Lord’s hand. Matthew 14:31. We have to rid off the past and negative emotions to see and engage the future. We have to make room for the Vision.
What is your Vision for 2024? When God gives us a vision we need to serve the Vision or we can easily be distracted. Jesus taught,” The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!“ Matthew 6:22-23. What your eyes lay hold on, lays hold on you. So let’s desire God to lay hold unto us as we serve His vision. The provision of God comes from His vision and to seek His vision, we need to build our daily devotional prayer life to seek God’s will. Prayer clears and cleans up our old ashes, oil, and offerings with new consecrations. The New Wine requires New Wine Skins. Mark 2:22. Don’t be afraid of headwinds, they are to make you stronger and soar you higher.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my vision be a new living sacrifice unto you to renew my mind and sharpen my focus to your Vision. Be thou my vision and let my will be yielded to your sovereign will, plans, and purposes. Let my heart be humble and my mind be zealous to seek your face as a Jacob generation, whom your peace and favour rest. Let me be led by your Holy Spirit, bearing fruitfulness in the Spirit and success through Christ in 2024 for the home, school, marketplace and ministry, in Jesus Name, Amen.
