Today’s Inspiration: “Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.” Proverbs 8:34 NIV. Prayer is not just telling God what we want but desiring to hear God of what He desires. If children are the arrows of our father God, He is the bow which directs and stretches us towards our prophetic destiny. Prayer places us in the hands of our Abba Father. Without prayer, we are just placed in the hands of our own flesh, will and worldly ways. Jesus taught all the disciples to enter into their inner chambers with God. Matthew 6:6 .
A day with the Lord is like a thousand years. 2 Peter 3:8. What this teaches us about prayer is not about the duration but about our relationship with God. When you love God, in His presence and communion, time is never enough. We want more of His time, His word, and His touch. We never want to leave. Just imagine an hour in His presence brings so much light, strength and glory to your entire day! Isaiah 60:1. Holy Spirit reveals,” For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. But those who fail to find me harm themselves; all who hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:35-36 Prayer teaches us how to love and live in the presence of God. 1 Peter 4:8. It opens the doors of hope, faith and the wonders of God daily. Prayer brings us back to the divine and blessed alignment with God daily. He has the best, He knows the best, and He is the best. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, guide me with your wisdom, knowledge and understanding daily in prayer. Your presence is heaven to me. One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
