Today’s Inspiration: “Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures forever; their horn will be lifted high in honor.” Psalms‬ ‭112:6-9‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ How do we handle bad news, reports and sudden situations? Over the past 2 years, many things had happened in the pandemic and in facing economic challenges, aging infirmities, a world brewing for war, and social polarisation, we need to know in our heart where does our help comes from, our helps comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and the earth. He will not allow our foot to be moved. Psalm 121:1-3.

To rebuke fear, we need to have faith in God. And to have faith in God, we need to spend time with His Word and letting His Word fill our minds and our hearts with prayer and worship. For our battle is not carnal but spiritual. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. You can’t overcome stress with the flesh but with rest in the Spirit to be blessed. God’s fire is awaiting the sacrifice on the altar of prayer, for without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6. What we will encounter at the Altar is God’s perfect love for us, and His presence and peace will cast out all fears, anxieties and stress. Why we fear is because we keep looking back but not trusting God to advance and move forward by faith. God’s presence always brings forth confidence and hope for the future because we serve a great God. Would you offer yourself as a living sacrifice unto the Lord and trust Him at all times? Romans 12:1 Take time to pray and worship Him in this season and build the altar of your soul. The altar is the meeting place with God with fire and power. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, it’s not by might not by power of man but by your Holy Spirit, who make all things for the good to testify for your glory! We will not be afraid of bad news because you are always our good news and in you we find love, hope and faith for a new day, a new season and new breakthroughs to glory your Name. In you I find my peace and I am too blessed to be stressed in Jesus' Name, Amen.
