Today's Inspiration: For who knows the Mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him. Have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16. We need to mature. Our maturity is found in knowing Him personally, His purpose and power in our relationship with Christ. Since the day of our encounter, we desire to know who He is, His purpose for us and the extent of His power that facilitates the path to His miraculous deeds. Knowing him is something all of us should pursue. Who is Christ to you?

Our first encounter with Him is not enough. We must spend some time in worship and adoration to know Him better of His glorious majestic power and purpose He has planned for us. Spending time with Him is not about memorising verses though the knowledge of them is important. Knowing His heart and understanding His ways far more exceed our purpose of coming to Him to ask for favors or presenting our petitions. Knowing the depths of His love, the extent of His protection, and the power of His experience will bring us to a deeper experience with Christ who meet us personally like Paul did at Damascus. Acts 9:4-6 with a question why he was persecuting Him. When we persecute His disciples, we are persecuting the Lord. Normally God meets us at the point of our need and the measure of our faith.

My first encounter with Christ was an invitation that He had sent for ages to draw me closer to Him and a command to be used as His instrument for healing the depressed, the sick, the wounded heart and the distressed. He will be with me till the end of age and His name is I Am. This encounter had brought me closer to Him, a relationship that is more than casual, with an instruction of the Lord far exceeding what I could ever think or imagine. The closer you draw to His presence, the clearer the purpose of our call and more importantly the experience of His power beyond human thoughts that are futile. The Power of God is already vested in Him and His presence will go with us (Matthew 28:18, 20) till the end of the age and the Blood of Jesus is more than enough to help us to gain access to the court of heaven but let's do it with sincerity and a pure heart.

The greatest need in the church today is that those who have been redeemed by the Blood of Christ should continuously experience the presence of the risen Christ so as to be able to demonstrate the power of Indwelling Christ- the power overflowing from His Resurrection. God be praised.

Abba Father, I long to be in Your presence with your people singing praises to You and experience Your Indwelling power that filled me with awe each day for with You I gain victories in life from every storm of life. I long each day to hear Your voice of instruction. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
