19 December 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.” Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Testimonies are not just an encouragement from a good story, it is a spiritual weapon against satan. If the archangels overcame the devil by the blood of Jesus and the testimonies of the saints, it draws us insightfully on the speaking about the power of God in our lives. Revelation 12:11. The woman of Samaria brought the whole town to Christ because of her testimony and encounter with Jesus. Peter shared and spoke about Christ, there and then 3000 families got saved.

There was once a brother told me how come when he got saved, there were many miracles, signs and wonders happening. After much years as a Christian he seldom encounter as much. Suddenly the Holy Spirit prompted me to ask Him, when did he last share and testify for Jesus? What does the Bible speaks about moving from faith to faith? Romans 1:17. How can we experience and encounter the goodness of God and not tell the world about Him that many can be saved? Remember this, our testimony of Christ opens the door of other hearts to receive Him as their personal Lord, Saviour and King. So let’s be bold and courageous to share our testimonies and you shall move from faith to faith, and glory to glory. You have a story to tell about Christ as the season of celebrations, gathering and visitations are coming.

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for saving my soul and making me a blessed assurance to others. Sorry if I have kept quiet when I am blessed and not shared about your goodness, grace and mercy. Forgive me. Give me courage and boldness to testify about you again. Let everyday be filled with your testimonies and encountering new ones. Let my soul who you redeemed say so for your glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
