19 April 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭37‬-‭38‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ The harvest speaks about the Great Commission of God for the Mission. If we look back into history, it was the Mission that birthed the Church and the Church is to be sent out for the Mission. The main reason why there is spiritual dryness, lukewarmness and stagnation is because there is no longer any faith required by the believer. And that is why there’s no longer any burden for prayers.

What is a Spiritual Life? There is no spiritual life or growth without discipleship. Jesus didn’t say go to make ministries, buildings or positions for the Great Commission. He told His eleven to go make Disciples of all Nations. Matthew 28:19. What is the goal of discipleship today? To be more anointed, knowledgeable or collect certificates? Not really. The goal is to carry the Cross of Christ and it is the proof that one is truly a disciple of Jesus. Luke 9:23. The heart of discipleship is moving one’s heart to the Mission for souls. It doesn’t mean you have to travel to do Mission. It can also be reaching to local community, lifegroup or even Marketplace where you work. Our divine design and destiny in the Kingdom of God comes from His Mission in our hearts. What is His in you?

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me learn to deny myself, carry the Cross and follow you for you have taught me to be your disciple. The earth is your Mission field and you are coming back again for the harvest. Send us forth as workers, planters and sowers to the place and people whom you have chosen to save, heal, and deliver. Lead us to be disciplers. May the treasure of my heart be in your Mission of the Great Commission, and your harvest be ready for your Great Coming, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
